Qihang (Charlie) Wu

I am a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Engineering at Arizona State University, advised by Prof. Vidya A. Chhabria. My research centers on LLM-guided algorithm evolution for EDA, spanning physical design, ASIC/FPGA placement and routing, and 2.5D/3D chiplet systems. I also work closely with Prof. Aman Arora on design space exploration for heterogeneous integration architectures.

Previously, I was a hardware systems engineer at Artly AI. I earned my M.S. in Electrical Engineering from NYU and dual B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portland.
