Artly Coffee
Hardware System Engineer
Artly Coffee (Blue Hill Tech.), a startup located in Seattle, WA, is at the forefront of introducing the world's most sophisticated AI-powered robotic barista. During my tenure with the company, I was involved in several key technical developments:
I engineered a fully automated, high-precision scale that involved the design of both mechanical and electrical circuits, as well as the integration of firmware for accurate liquid measurement.
I contributed to the development of a tilting gimbal designed for cup grasping, which encompassed the integration of electrical motors, establishing control signal communication with the robotic arm, and implementing brushless motor load sensing to enhance precision and efficiency.
I also spearheaded the modification of a manual espresso machine, seamlessly integrating its internal sensors and control signals into the robotic system's control unit, thereby optimizing the machine's functionality within the automated process.
Each project underscored my ability to navigate complex engineering challenges, employing a combination of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and software development skills to push the boundaries of automated coffee preparation technology.
